Mach-4 represents a unique blend of some of the best gray genetics that exists in the world today, Mach 4 is the product of 4 generations of tuxedo gray alpacas in A Paca Fun Farms breeding program. On both sides of Mach 4’s pedigree are stacked with layers of multi champions too numerous to list here. His sire, A Paca Fun’s Super Sonic, being true to his name, “broke the barrier” to become the first gray male to win a Judge’s Choice award in halter competition. His dam, KBA’s Enlightened, is a 10X banner winner in her own right, taking color champion in both halter and fleece at MAPACA in 2013. Mach 4 himself is a total package. He combines fineness and uniformity with excellent crimp structure and density. All of this is packed on a square, heavy boned frame, with upright, proud presence. Mach 4 is now a proven male as of 2017, with various of colors being produced. Mach's first crop of crias varied from Medium Brown to Dark Silver grey. All of which were either from a grey, fawn females. His crias are taking home 3rd and above in the show ring, with some amazing comments from the Judges. Aurora is a result of another line-breeding, this time on Aussie .38 Special. She is a daughter of Crescent Moon’s GunPowder & lead daughter of another dam that ticks the quality box! Her name is PJA Bomber’s Adrianna, and in addition to being a show champion herself, she is also the dam of: RGR All That BY Alydar, who is a dark brown juvenile male with extreme promise & True Black Red Granites Sizlin Adar who we sold last winter. Adrianna is unique in the fact that her dam was purchased from Pleasant Journey Alpacas to bring in some new gray names, namely, Emeralds Rincon Cloud & Bea 2 Bomber. We have a direct daughter of Rincon Cloud and she has done great things. Adrianna’s dam was the 2013 Futurity Grey Female Reserve Color Champion recipient and her sire, Bea-2-Bomber (owned by Cory Wesson & Annie Hunt) is a multi-champion and champion producer. So the quality is definitely there in this young female's pedigree. Aurora brings truly superior genetics for staple length and density, while also maintaining a good micron throughout the lifetime. Something we should also mention is the GunPowder & Lead line has been known to reduce the number of primaires on given females, so you can also expect Auroras cria to have a low count of primaries on average, which is a great thing indeed.
