This is a very special guy for us - the last male out of our beloved 4Peruvian White Knight - and he did not disappoint. At three years of age, he showed density of 65.76 follicles per sq mm, an S/P average of 11.8, and a micron spread of only 4.2! At 3 years of age, his AFD was 22.5, and he has retained a lustrous wave to twist lock throughout his years on the farm. His 2024 EPD rankings put him in the top 2% for AFD and the top 1% for SD. Shining Armor has been a big contributor to the development of our herd and you'll see a number of his offspring in our listings.

Solaris descends from 4Peruvian White Knight - the herdsire to Shining Armor and, in Solaris's case, Snowmass Silken Gold. He is a conformationally correct male with a buttery soft fleece and loads of luster (He scored 18.5 of 20 in the 2023 SN Fleece Show). He ranks in the top 1% of EPDs for AFD and in the top 3% for SD. He did well in the shows and he even won Suri Male Best Handle in the 2023 Suri Network's Fleece Show! His biopsy results from 2024 are as follows: Density - 66.25 S/P Ratio - 8.9 P-S Spread - 4.3 (26.6 - 22.3) Solaris started his breeding career this year (2025) and we have several confirmed pregnancies. We can't wait to see what he produces!
