This is a very special guy for us - the last male out of our beloved 4Peruvian White Knight - and he did not disappoint. At three years of age, he showed density of 65.76 follicles per sq mm, an S/P average of 11.8, and a micron spread of only 4.2! At 3 years of age, his AFD was 22.5, and he has retained a lustrous wave to twist lock throughout his years on the farm. His 2024 EPD rankings put him in the top 2% for AFD and the top 1% for SD. Shining Armor has been a big contributor to the development of our herd and you'll see a number of his offspring in our listings.

Matchless is an outstanding breeding male out of our foundation herdsire Shining Armor. We sold some Shining Armor breedings to B I Bar Ranch and we liked the offspring they produced so much that we purchased them! Matchless was one of those we purchased and he did not disappoint. Lovely conformation, uniform in his micron throughout the blanket with beautiful luster, and a calm disposition. Matchless ranks in the top 4% for AFD and top 2% SD and his biopsy stats at two years of age are as follows: Density - 67.25 S/P Ratio - 12.3 P-S spread - 7.3 (28.1 - 20.8) He has offspring on the ground and we are very pleased with the results! (Note that Matchless has now produced as dark as bay black, for those who breed for color in your herd).
