HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White, Medium Fawn

He’s a superhero all right! X man is not just the sire of beautifully fleeced appaloosas and harlequins from solid females but also produced a harlequin that was awarded 2023 grey female National Champion. His pedigree is stacked with elite solid colored ancestry and he carries the appaloosa genotype of his ancestor NGG Lionel. This boy is five years old and just getting started. This priceless opportunity will be made available June 1, 2024-- Parade of Champions Auction in N. Salem, New York. Come see him in person. Online bidding will be available as well. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If your goal is to produce elite-fleeced appaloosas and harlequins, this young male is for you. He is handsome and well-grown-- 190 lbs. (Feb 2024) He carries elite-fleeced heavy hitters in his pedigree such as Legacy, El Nino, and Snowmass XXXtreme. These elite-fleeced alpacas are known for their lasting-fineness and density. GSire Accoyo America Sai-Hoji was 21 micron at 11 years of age! Not only does X Man sport a sweet, easy-to-handle disposition... his fleece is exactly what you would expect from such a stellar pedigree. He is dense and fine and FULL of crimp! He has a tight primary to secondary ratio with an AFD of 21.2, SD 3.9 and Fibers Greater than 30=0.6%. (Age 4) Expect lasting fineness from this guy! X Man now has 17 offspring on the ground. We are extremely pleased with the quality and coloration of his progeny. They are having great success at shows and on the auction stages. A couple of noteworthy accomplishments... June 2023 - X Man's harlequin offspring Monet's Palette of DVAF sold at the New York Parade of Champions after some very competitive bidding. July 2023 - X Man's harlequin offspring - Derwydd's Pukka-Dot by X-Man took the GREY Color Champion at the 2023 AOA National Fleece Show. Jolene is a typey, well-expressed appaloosa female with curb appeal galore. She is the daughter of 4X banner winner, Crescent Moon's Isidora (a Shiftin Gears daughter) and the wildly expressive harlequin appaloosa, Apache Gentleman. Jolene's sire-- Apache Gentleman has over 30 registered offspring of which the majority are either appaloosa or harlequin. Both of Jolene's parents are the producers of champion offspring. Apache has a number of champion offspring including 3X champion Apache Gentlemen's Alchesay. Additionally, Apache now has two Get of Sire awards with his appaloosa and harlequin offspring -- a 1st place and 2nd place. (Photos included on Apache's page). Apache's pedigree is packed on both sides with wonderfully expressed appaloosas and harlequins. Jolene is a wonderful representation of crossing light colored, elite-fleece genetics with wildly, expressive harlequin appaloosa genetics. The stars aligned and Jolene has been stamped with the best from both! We are very excited about the quality of Jolene's fleece and for her first show, we entered her in the 2023 AOA National Fleece Show resulting in her first banner-- Multi Reserve Color Champion. Jolene is proudly co-owned with Stone Pine Farm.

Description

* * Introducing Rare Gem Pixel DaVinci * * Every now and then, a cria arrives that seems destined for the spotlight—and this little masterpiece is no exception. Pixel is X-Man’s final offspring born here at Rare Gem Alpacas, and he’s already proving to be a fitting tribute. With a strong, square frame, correct conformation, and a strikingly symmetrical head, Pixel carries the signature phenotype we strive for. His fleece is already showing signs of excellence—uniform, bright, and buttery to the touch, with expressive Appaloosa patterning that promises to evolve beautifully with age. Pixel is the product of two exceptional Appaloosa parents, bred with intention and depth of pedigree: ** Sire: Rare Gem X-Man, who now resides at Roaring Acres Farm after being sold at the 2024 Parade of Champions. ** Dam: Stone Pine Jolene, a banner-winning, well-expressed, spotted female with champion status and fleece to match. Beyond the pasture, Pixel is also set to take on a starring role in our Kids4Kids Book Series—a story collection told through the eyes of our baby alpacas, designed to inspire young readers while celebrating the unique personalities in our herd. Pixel’s curious, observant nature and whimsical name make him the perfect “resident artist” of the series. ** Key Highlights ** • Co-owned with Stone Pine Farm, in a collaborative effort to preserve and promote quality Appaloosa genetics • Genetics include both Harlequin and Leopard Appaloosa lines • Strong potential as a future herdsire in spotted programs or boutique fleece-focused herds • Pixel plays a lead role in the Kids4Kids book series—written to inspire, with proceeds helping launch the Rare Gem Giving Herd fund for camelid-focused grants and care
