Another amazing Champion offspring of our 5C's Captain Midnight. 5C's Captain Cognac's fleece is stunningly bright with incredible fineness and staple length. His density is off the charts. Cognac has a stunning, proud presence that begs attention. He just keeps improving as he grows. This is a perfect example of breeding Champions to Champions. His TB sire, 18X Champion 5C's Captain Midnight, needs no introduction, and his dam, Spartan's Kalista, is a champion and super producer as well. 5C's Captain Cognac's beautiful brown juvenile fleece was awarded the Reserve Champion Brown Male at the 2020 National Fleece Show. This fleece also garnered not only 1st place and Color Champion, but Best Brightness for the entire show at TXOLAN 2021. This fleece has also earned the coveted Advanced Fleece Reward in each show entered. Cognac made us so proud when he was awarded 1st place in both halter shows at Fall Buckeye 2020. ****Update Captain Cognac's yearling fleece has been awarded the 2021 National Brown Male Champion. We are so proud of this gorgeous brown male. He is definitely the REAL DEAL. This fleece has density, uniformity, brightness, staple length and fineness. What else could you ask for? The best part is that he is retaining his outstanding character and fineness. His 2024 fleece is stunning. Cognac's crias are stunning and range from beige to bay black. He does carry one dilution so the color of the cria will be determined by the combination of color of the dam. No matter what the color the fleeces are amazing. Heads up West Coast breeders, Coganc is standing at Thordarson Farms through May 2025. Contact either farm to book arrange to breed your female. Well he's back and breeding here at home. His crias born this year are exciting. Two beautiful females were born here on the farm. Color Genotype Eea2a1

Outstanding Mother and Braxton cria

Skyline's Serena

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 35499619DOB: 6/17/20187 yrs
In an effort to downsize, we have been forced to make some tough decisions. Serena has been a really solid producer for us and we're offering her with her 2025, Braxton son, Caspian. She is an excellent mother who has nice solid crias and plenty of milk for them. We now have two beautiful daughters who are producing for us and 2 beautiful black sons. Claudia and Calvados have shown well for us and we expect that Caspian will too. Caspian is a big bonus here folks. He's a nice solid male with a consistent, dense, TB fleece. We've had several black males born this year and we can't show them all. He'll definitely be competitive and looks like a great herdsire prospect. Don't miss this opportunity to add a solid production female and a beautiful young male to your program. Serena is currently open, but we offer her with a breeding to any of our solely owned males. Genotype Eeaa non-grey (no #'s on her a's)
