Arctic Warrior sports a fleece that is extremely uniform in micron, with a SD of 2.9 at age two, and just one micron variation in AFD across his entire blanket. As you might guess, he is in the top 1% of EPDs for Standard Deviation (SD) of Average Fiber Diameter (AFD), and he is passing that trait on to his offspring. His fleece is dense and well organized, with a beautiful crimp style that extends into his extremities. Arctic Warrior is out of the champion Polaris daughter Accoyo America Arctica, by Accoyo America Road Warrior. He is available for outside breedings. Arctic Warrior is co-owned with Little Creek Farm Alpacas.

Description

We discovered this lovely girl at the 2022 Parade of Champions in New York and are excited to be adding her to the foundation herd. Murphy has a fleece that exhibits good staple formation, length, brightness and density. Phenotypically she is beautiful as well-- exhibiting good bone, a perfect bite and square leg-set. Murphy's pedigree is packed with powerhouse genetics. Her sire is Accoyo America Arctic Warrior, 2012 AOBA Champion white male. Her mother brings a blend of the HemiAccoyo bloodlines from Timberland and a Titan daughter from Pet Center. All of this comes together in this impressive young female. At seven months, Murphy's histogram is an astounding AFD 12.5/SD 2.4/CV 19.1/%>30 0/CF 100%/Curve 52.2. Murphy's lineage does not contain any known appaloosa or harlequin genetics but she has characteristics making her a good candidate for throwing elite-fleeced patterned offspring. As such, Murphy will be utilized in our appaloosa / harlequin breeding program. Color Genotype Pending. Murphy is co-owned with Diamond Valley Alpacas.
