In 2010, he took a 2nd to his brother Snowmass Matrix Elite in two shows, International Alpaca Odyssey and the Futurity, with the judges stating that Matrix Elite was denser but Pure Passion finer. Correctly so, as you see in his 5th fleece which measures 17.0 AFD. PATAGONIA'S CAPRICIA Capricia's line is known for lasting fineness. Her sire, Patagonia's El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. A skin biopsy by Dr. Evans ranked El Vasco in the top 1% in density (70 follicles SQMM. SP ratio: 13 to 1). At age 10 he was maintaining a 23.6 AFD. Capricia's paternal grandsire is the exotic Patagonia's Neruda, who sold for over $200,000 at the 2007 Futurity Auction. Capricia's dam, Patagonia's Nitika comes from two outstanding multi-champion parents. Her sire is our legendary multi champion brown herdsire, Patagonia's Lennox. His fleece is soft, fine, dense, exhibits high frequency crimp and is bright. Lennox, an 8x color champion is proving himself in the show ring again through his award-winning progeny. Capricia's maternal grandam is Patagonia's Black Rose, a true black Nishio daughter. Black Rose is a 6x Black female Champion and has won multiple blue ribbons. On 7/28/20, Capricia gave birth to an attractive light fawn female also sired by Snowmass Pure Passion. ESTATES PASSIONATE CLARA won a Blue Ribbon at the 2024 Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show! She also won 1st Place at the 2023 Houston Livestock Alpaca Show (ranch-mate Estates Fever's Fancy Flower won Color Champion & Judge's Choice). On 11/1/21, Capricia gave us a pretty medium fawn female again sired by our amazing champion producer, Snowmass Pure Passion. On 8/22/23, Capricia presented us with a beautiful light fawn female also sired by our incredible Snowmass Pure Passion. On 9/9/24, Capricia gave us a handsome beige male sired by Amber Autumn Hot Chocolate.

PATAGONIA'S EL GALAN Patagonia’s El Galan has an elegant, soft handle, buttery fleece, and is a strong-boned pure white herdsire that has recently had drop dead crias hit the ground. It is nice to finally select the right breedings for this magnificent male to see his full potential as a sire of champions. El Galan’s progeny truly remind me of what his sire, Patagonia’s Cayo, looked like when he was a juvenile. El Galan’s dam, Patagonia’s Fantasma, has a show record of her own, and is on our foundation herd. El Galan has a nice stature, very crimpy fleece that is remaining soft, bright, and silky. This sire is definitely passing on these wonderful characteristics to his progeny with bundling, beautiful structure, uniformity of micron count and color in their fleece, adding dense, dense fleece and staple length. During the 2017 show season, his stunning juvenile crias have received Color Champion, Reserve Champion, and Blue and Red ribbons. In addition, his daughter Estates Wedding Tapistry was selected as the 2017 ABI Judge's Choice Winner! We couldn't be more pleased!
