ESTATES DURANGO Durango is EXTREMELY dense, yet has soft, bright and consistent fiber with beautiful crimp. He has a few white fibers, but they are soft and crimpy; not strong secondaries. Durango's sire is Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates, our dark brown herdsire with Multi-Champion Genetics! His paternal grandsire is our own Snowmass Andean Midnight a beautiful, compact, true black “silky soft” male with an outstanding pedigree for fineness. Durango's sire is a multi-banner winner at International Alpaca Odyssey, etc. and both his parents have produced show string winners. Durango's paternal genetics are from PPeruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Andean Gold, Snowmass Andean Bronze, and Snowmass Andean Midnight. On his dam's side, he has TCB's Sullivan, a full Peruvian, half Accoyo male out of the famous PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. Durango showed in 2015 and 2016 on our show string. He won 1st Place at the 2016 California Classic and 2nd Place at the 2015 West Coast Alpaca Show (where our Estates Satin Cloud was the 1st Place & Color Champion), along with six other ribbons during his show career. ESTATES SATIN SHALIMAR Satin Shalimar's sire is Estates Satin Cloud, our outstanding 8x Champion true black herdsire out of Snowmass Satin Reserve XX and Premier's Adriana. Satin is a well-structured, proud male with a very handsome head. He is fine with beautiful curvature, consistent fleece, dense, and bright. Her dam, Estates Andean Shalimar is the daughter of Snowmass Andean Midnight, our dynamite true black male with extreme fineness. Andean Midnight's grandsire is none other than Andean Bronze, the sire of Royal Bronze - from Snowmass' vicuna type alpaca retaining fineness under 20 microns after reaching maturity. Offspring: On 5/7/21, Satin Shalimar presented us with a lovely true black female sired by Estates Durango, our handsome, dark brown Pegasus son with extreme density. On 6/8/22, Satin Shalimar gave us a beautiful true black female sired by 5X champion, Red Granites Lapu. Her daughter, Shalon received a Color Championship banner and Blue Ribbon (out of a class of 4) at the 2023 Houston Livestock Alpaca Halter Show! On 6/24/25, Satin Shalimar gave birth to a pretty rose grey female sired by our grey champion, Estates Silver Titan.
