PATAGONIA'S ROUGE Rouge is a beautiful light rose grey beauty sired by two Chilean imports, El Padre and Maracuya. Her sire, El Padre is one of the top herd sires at Alpacas de la Patagonia, and is known for successfully passing on his extreme density to all of his offspring. Two of Rouge's 1/2 brothers out of El Padre are Kaspa and Nishio. Rouge is a proven Multiple Champion Producer! On 8/12/2005, Rouge gave us Patagonia’s Amarilla Rose, a lovely dark fawn female sired by Patagonia's El Trauco. Her lineage embodies many of the great herdsires Alpaca's de la Patagonia have produced: Shackleton, El Trauco, and El Padre. Amarilla Rose won Reserve Champion and 1st Place ribbon at MAPACA 2006, as well as several other ribbons during the 2006 show season. On 9/4/2007, Rouge presented us with Patagonia's Ingenue, an exceptional light brown female sired by R&RR Oliver Twist. Not only is Ingenue a 4x Champion herself, but she is also a 7x produce of dam winner! On 11/5/08, Rouge had Patagonia's Vinson Massif, a handsome medium brown male sired by our Patagonia's Lennox. Vinson Massif is a 4x champion including winning Reserve Champion at both the 2011 and 2010 AOBA National shows.
